This is the largest wetland in Tuscany, and here, those seeking relaxation are sure to find it. We are in today&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parcosanrossore.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Natural Park<\/a><\/strong> and there are about 260 species of birds surveyed and protected.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Massarosa and the Chiarone Reserve<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Lipu Oasis of Massaciuccoli. Massarosa is also home to an oasis where many volatiles nest and birdwatching stations can be found. Here, too, the peace of nature provides moments when time seems to stand still. There is no shortage of Marsh Harrier above the reedbeds and Royal Pythias and Garganeys. In spring there is the best and other species come into view.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>How to get to the Chiarone &#8211; Massaciuccoli Reserve<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lipu.it\/oasi-naturale-di-massaciuccoli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chiarone Nature Reserve<\/a><\/strong> has about 47 hectares and is open to the public year-round, daily, 9am-7pm. Guided tours for groups or school groups must be booked at the Visitor Center.
